ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Region 8 Gifted Youth
Region 8 encompasses the 11 Pacific Intermountain Region, which includes Alaska, eastern and western Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, northern Nevada, and northern California.
Gifted Youth Coordinators (GYCs) support a local group’s gifted youth, their families, and other Mensa members with children.
When a local group does not have a designated GYC, the Regional Gifted Youth Coordinator substitutes as the traditional GYC officer in the local group and becomes the GYC on record for that group.
